The Gilchrist Soil & Water Conservation District (GSWCD) held a regularly scheduled monthly meeting on September 21, 2021 with the following Supervisors in attendance: Jeff Reed Chairperson, Jack Cook Co-Chairperson, Tommy Jones Supervisor, Brett Crawford Supervisor, Joe Vaughn FWCC, Technicians Jason Duval and Scott Tucker and Katrina Pace Administrator.

I. Meeting called Order: Chairperson Jeff Reed called the meeting to order at 6:08 pm.
II. Approval of Minutes – Supervisor Crawford motioned to file, seconded by Supervisor Cook, all approved.
III. Approval of Financials – Supervisor Crawford motioned to approve, seconded by Supervisor Jones.

V. Staff Reports
Administrator-Katrina Pace
Gave a report on the AFCD Annual Meeting. Our Speech Contestant Carleigh Newsom won the contest. We had two Poster Contestants to win they were Laina Teague and Linden Teague.

Conservation Tech- Jason Duval and Scott Tucker reported they are working on Cost Share and IV’s

a. Administrator remined the board our Local Working Group Meeting will be November 16, 2021.
b. Scott Tucker and Jason Duval will go wash the signs and report how many need to be replaced.
c. Insurance reimbursement checks will be written monthly.
